St Joseph’s has a strong emphasis on student leadership. We aim to provide opportunities to develop and cultivate leadership qualities within all students. It is important that we prepare our future leaders for the skills required to embrace the world. Skills such as collaboration, emotional intelligence, decisiveness and assertiveness amongst other qualities.
Student leadership elections occur at the start of the school year. Students are nominated by their peers before voting takes place.
The Student Representative Council is the largest of the leadership groups and it aims to give a voice to all students in the school to have impact on the future direction of the school.
Wellbeing leaders assist Pastoral Care Teachers to develop the character strengths of all students in the school. The desired affect is to promote the best qualities that our students can possess.
